i found my dance n twirl barbie in my mom’s closet when i was four. she told me that it was for my best friend brooke. brooke never got a dance n twirl barbie, but i did.

i outright asked my mom and she was like “he’s real if you want him to be”… i called her stupid and had a go at her for lying to me. five year old me was cool ;)

I always knew that it wasn’t him who brought me presents for Christmas, but I thought he was very old and had retired. So, I still believe in Santa.

I caught our househelper wrapping the presents supposedly from Santa. And it was still labeled “From Santa.” I was torn.
